Hello, Maker Community!
Some of you may have observed in the past few days that certain badges have started to appear on select Maker’s Supply models. Let us now explain the reasons behind the design of these badges.

Once the [Downloads + 2xPrints] for a model reaches 2000, we will conduct a comprehensive review of the model’s data as well as its part compatibility. This review involves verifying that there is no false downloading or printing data. At the same time, we will print samples of the models and assemble them with the BOMs (Bill of Materials) following the given assembly guide from the creators. If we notice any issues during the process, we will give suggestions to the model creators. We ensure that all kits and parts listed in the BOMs (Bill of Materials) are fully compatible with the model and the quantities are correct when our customer places the order through the BOM function.
When this verification process is complete, we will calculate the Maker’s Supply point incentive and award it to the model creator. Moreover, to heighten the sense of accomplishment for models that have successfully passed our reviews, we will manually upgrade the Maker’s Supply badge to a golden one. As a result, for customers looking to purchase Maker’s Supply kits and parts based on these models, the presence of the gold - colored badge serves as a clear indication of the model’s reliability.
Please be assured that we are about to commence the process of manually awarding these badges to all Maker’s Supply models that have already passed reviews in the past. We’re excited about these badges, which honor creators and assure customers. Keep exploring our models. Happy designing and printing!
