Today they took down a profile print of a model from a year ago for the lack of a real photo of the printed model. And sure, my mistake… even if the page was FILLED with photos and gifs of the printed profile, they weren’t uploaded as attachments. It was the first model I uploaded on the platform after all.
It’s not about the 8-10 point they got back… the model was a very useful but uncommon thing. Still, something you could only find on makerworld.
And now it’s gone forever, since it’s unprintable, and I’m not going back to fusion to create a new one. f**k them honestly.
They choose to go after a model that survived like 10 reviews for a card redemption, while their platform is now a dumpster fullfilled by ai generated content and meme models to farm point. There are people doing nothing but s**t like this:

What’s the point of taking a long time to create a GOOD complex model, in general?
You get a “featured” icon, and then what?
Same visibilty as before.
The model will still get a diminishing return on downloads, and after 1k you get almost nothing. If you want to incentivate those kind of models, you reward when they get a lot of downloads. You don’t penalize it…
In theory people should be incentivated to boost complex models but that’s really just theory. Many i know, still boost memes and exchange them with no consequences.
So yeah, I don’t hate the guy doing meme drill bits to farm points. It’s pathetic, but maybe it’s just a kid trying to buy a printer. It’s Makerworld fault in the end.
