I wanted to use the Buy Now button on the excellent model “Remote Controlled Water Turret” by my friend @MaKim, so I can print one and gift it to a neighbour’s kids, but the feature doesn’t work.
More specifically, it doesn’t work on the iPad and other mobile devices.
I have tried many other models, all fail in the same way.
To replicate:
- Locate a suitable model.
- Scroll down to the BoM.
- Make sure you have all the parts you wish to purchase selected.
- Choose the “Buy Now” button.
- Select the country store you will be using.
- Confirm.
- NOTHING!!!
- Visit the store, nothing in the basket.
It works fine on desktops.
I have had others check, and they found the same result.
This has two outcomes, neither of which is great.
- The user cannot easily purchase something if they are using a mobile device.
- The creator loses the commission for a sale as it is either abandoned or not credited to the creator.
@MakerWorld can you confirm when this is fixed, please?
