We’re excited to unveil the latest MakerWorld update, brimming with features designed to empower creators and elevate the user experience.

- Auto-generated STLs from Print Profiles
Addressing community feedback, we’ve introduced the ability to automatically generate STL files from print profiles (3mf) for models that lack STL files. This caters to users who prefer STL downloads, expanding accessibility. Initially, this feature applies to newly uploaded models, with gradual rollout to existing ones.
- Enhanced Print Profile Compatibility
MakerWorld now intelligently detects the required build volume for each print profile and generates a list of compatible printers.
For instance, an X1C print profile for a small/medium-sized object will be compatible with A1 mini, enabling printing via Bambu Handy.
This feature is currently available for newly uploaded models, with plans for expansion to existing ones.
- Featured Model Collections
Introducing Featured Model Collections, curated assortments of top-tier models tailored to specific themes, seasons, events, user groups, and unique categories like Maker’s Supply kits. These collections showcase the best of MakerWorld’s offerings, catering to diverse interests and needs.
- Optimized Search Functionality
We’ve enhanced the search capabilities to include:

Model ID Search: Locate models directly using their unique identifiers.

Collection Search: Find collections by name, tag, or ID.

Refined Search Predictions: Enjoy more relevant and accurate search suggestions.
- Maker’s Supply BOM List Download
Users can now download Maker’s Supply Bill of Materials (BOM) lists as .xlsx files for easy sharing.
- New Block Feature
You can now block other users. Blocked users will not be able to interact with you, including sending direct messages, commenting, rating, and following.
- Download Limit for Anonymous Users
Anonymous user download limit is now set to 5 models, encouraging registration to unlock unlimited downloads and other benefits.
- Streamlined Point Reward Calculation
To help you save the effort of complex manual calculations, we offer point rewards for several typical download volumes. Additionally, we have optimized the presentation of the point reward rules on the interface to make them easier to read and understand.
- Weekly Boost Token Distribution
Boost Token distribution limits now align with natural calendar weeks by being calculated on a calendar week basis.
- Model Cover Image Cropping Enhanced
We’ve refined the model cover image cropping experience for easier selection, complete image preview, and precise zoom control.
