Yesterday I discovered by accident that you can select any filament for a print profile even if the material does not match (e.g. PLA in a print profile that displays PETG):
I did not think of trying this, because the “Match my filament” tab suggests that I have to select a roll of PETG:

There are many models out there which have a dedicated profile for each material. This suggested to me that you need to have a profile for each one. (Might make sense if the materials need different settings, but I think many of them are just the same profile with a different material selected).
For example, this model:

(note the description of this profile)
So, it seems like I am not the only one that did not know that you can use a profile with any material.
This should be improved in the UI, so that it does not create misunderstandings.
