Stolen items on ebay, using stolen photos

Hi MakerWorld peeps!

I found an ebay seller that sells a lot of stolen designs (from contests or popular ones) using photos made by designers of those items (and slightly modifies the photos by removing backgrounds and watermarks)

Here are couple examples:

My model: Cute Hedgehog Cat Self Scratcher Groomer by Johnny_Bit - MakerWorld
Ebay: Cute Hedgehog Cat Self Scratcher Groomer - Durable Plastic Toy for Your Pets | eBay

MakerWorld: pringles tray by Print3Diy - MakerWorld
Ebay: Chips Tray Adapter - Easy Picking for Chip Cans, Durable Plastic Snack Holder | eBay

MakerWorld: croc spoiler and exhaust by vanvarickj - MakerWorld
Ebay: Exhaust and Spoiler Croc Charms - Plastic Car-Themed Charms for Crocs | eBay

I’ve seen several others on the seller’s page, most of which have “standard digital file” licence, some offer commercial licence via patreon or similar services, but even then - seller uses photos made by model designers and that’s copyright violation in and of itself.

I’ve reported the listing of my model to ebay, I’ll try to reach out to seller to have it removed (or have them buy licence). The seller has over 80 ratings and over 350 items sold on their profile so it’s very likely they profited off of models without proper licence
