I just received a message from makerworld regarding their new profile regulations. I’m welcoming that new rules (I also once started a thread regarding this) but I’m also a bit fooled.
Some months ago makerworld wrote to me that they want to print one of my models to make photos and advertise it. This never happened. Now they are writing me to enforce the new rules and added exactly that model they once wanted to propagate…
What do you think?
The model has plenty of pictures. Shall I really add photos to each of the profiles?! …if so I would rather remove the model. There is plenty of prove that the print is working given by my description.
EDIT:
Sorry guys - but adding photos to print profiles is not guaranteeing quality. Sure when you are adding a foreign profile it’s maybe. But when I’m the designer, giving tons of pictures and a detailed description → this is quality. Please differentiate - this makes really no sense!
