MakerWorld default “top” comment sorting system prioritized comment threads and threads where the designer replies. So if you reply to users who have issues or need help with your design, all of the top comments will be about problems with your model. And if the top comments are all describing issues then that is bound to turn away some users, and that means fewer points.
Instead you should ignore the users who need help and reply to users who say “great model”, “love it” and try to engage them in a 3 or 4 comment chain to boost those comments.
Obviously I’m being a bit tongue in cheek here. But it is kind of annoying that even though I have hundreds of positive comments on my designs, the top comments are all complaints just because I tried to help those people.
