I uploaded a model last night and used the Standard Digital File License. My model is basically a window frame with slots that holds two flat panels to create a layered LED light box that looks like a window pane. You can attach fairy lights, LED tape, or use tea lights to illuminate. In my description I welcome designers who want to create different scenes to put in the frame and upload those as their own, but they would have to refer back to my model for someone to print the frame itself. I was thinking it would be a win-win, My frame is protected and gets download/prints, but designers can create and upload their own panels as well for points. Hope I am explaining this right. They could upload their design as a separate profile within my model, but then they don’t get model points or boosts, so I wanted to give them the opportunity to post panels on their own.
Is there a better way to set that up, where you only want part of your model protected? I certainly won’t report anyone who uploads their own panel designs. Does that suffice?
Thanks!
