Think beyond the basic key shape. Consider:
Themed key fob shells: from cyberpunk aesthetics to mecha-inspired armor designs, futuristic concepts, and more.
Think beyond aesthetics: functionality is key. Could your design include a built-in tracker to prevent loss? Maybe multi-tool features?
Modular cases: magnetic, swappable shells for different occasions.

Not to mention that my car key is either an nfc card or my phone, if you have a car from the last decade, you most likely have a remote which can turn to a key. Very different shapes and dimensions.
I don’t understand the objective of the contest: it’s some kind of “prototype” for an ipothetical futuristic car key?!
Or it’s just some accessory for your actual car key?
If that’s so… why specifically the car key and not your home key or your general set of keys?
Car key is really the worst possible one to design something about.
