I was looking through some models last week, and I found a mini arcade model that interested me. I decided that I would probably never print it, so I moved on. The next day, I decided to give it another look, but try as I might I couldn’t find it. Was it removed? Did I somehow block it (is that even a thing)? Did I dream it? Anyway, here is what I remember about it, and what sets it apart from all the other arcade models (which I have gone back and reread dozens of times!).
It was designed for a raspberry pi, like many others.
It used Recalbox to run the games.
It had a BOM which appeared up to date, I believe most of the links were aliexpress.
The BOM included real buttons and I’m pretty sure a joystick.
It was designed for a 7" screen (maybe 5" but fairly sure it’s 7")
And finally, in the comments, somebody suggested it should be entered in the contest. Surprisingly, Makerworld responded and said it was in the contest, and trending. Somebody else commented on Makerworld responding.
If this sounds familiar to you, please let me know I wasn’t dreaming and this exists. I don’t know why but it has become a challenge to me to find it.
